Privacy Policy

1. What This Covers

This policy applies to JobSmart sign-in — the service where you create an account and sign in to JobSmart applications. It does not replace privacy policies for individual apps. For JobSmart CRM data, see the JobSmart CRM Privacy Policy.

2. Information We Collect

• Account data: Name, email address, and a bcrypt password hash when you register
• Session data: HttpOnly cookies used to keep you signed in
• OAuth data: Authorization codes, refresh tokens, and scopes when you connect apps
• Technical data: IP address, browser type, and access logs for security and troubleshooting

3. How We Use It

• Authenticate you and issue OAuth tokens to apps you use
• Send account emails such as verification and password reset
• Protect against fraud and unauthorized access
• Maintain and improve the auth service

4. What We Share

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only when:

• You authorize a connected JobSmart application via OAuth
• A service provider helps us operate the service (for example, email delivery)
• Required by law or to protect safety and security

5. Security

We protect account data using measures that include:

• bcrypt password hashing — passwords are never stored in plain text
• HttpOnly session cookies with SameSite protection
• HTTPS in production for data in transit
• OAuth 2.0 with scoped access for connected applications

6. Retention

We keep account data while your account is active. OAuth tokens and authorization codes expire automatically. You may request account deletion through connected apps or by emailing james@pocostud.io.

7. Your Rights

You can update your name and email while signed in. You may request access to or deletion of your account data where applicable law provides those rights. Contact james@pocostud.io for privacy requests.

8. Cookies

We use essential session cookies to keep you signed in. These are required for the service to work.

9. Children

JobSmart sign-in is not intended for children under 13.

10. Changes

We may update this policy. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
